The purpose of producing doubled yarns is to improve yarn uniformity, abrasion resistance, tenacity and flexural endurance. This is also an essential process for the production of balanced yarn. In this technique two or more yarns are twisted together to form a single yarn. This operation is also known as folding, twisting or plying. Taking into consideration the required properties of yarn usages, we design and develop yarns for various applications. Similarly for Lurex yarns, it’s a covering process and depending on type of application usage (Weaving / Knitting or Embroidery) we design its construction process.
